Landauer MedalLandauer MedalThe Rolf Landauer Medal of the International ETOPIM Association is awarded during ETOPIM meetings. Previous recipients are: 2009: Rolf Landauer (Inaugural presentation, awarded posthumously) 2012: David Bergman and Graeme Milton 2015: Vladimir Shalaev and Costas Soukoulis 2018: Ross Mc Phedran and Ping Sheng 2022: Hui Cao and Ad Lagendijk
The award is open to all researchers in the area of inhomogeneous media, and it is for outstanding achievements in that area, either recent or over an entire career. At most two scientists, with closely related work, can be proposed in a single nomination. A nomination letter and two supporting letters, curriculum vitae, list of publications, and the email address of (or link to) the nominee’s website, if available, should be submitted not later than 31 January 2025.
The selection committee will consist of three distinguished scientists. This material should be sent to David J. Bergman, the current president of ETOPIM Society at

and to Andrea Alu one of the organizers of ETOPIM 13 at
<aalu@gc.cuny.edu>
This material should reach those destinations not later than the deadline indicated above.
